Frank Baum's classic novel, ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’, follows the trials and tribulations of two witches, Elphaba and Glinda, before and after Dorothy’s arrival in Oz. With a deep exploration of personalities at odds, contrasting outlooks, and a shared love interest, and the With themes of complex friendships, contrasting viewpoints, love, and social issues, everybody and anybody is bound to be wowed by the enthralling storytelling, dazzling spectacle, well-developed characters, and, of course, composer Stephen Schwartz’s incredible score.

The fact is that the audience will be left dumbstruck|an entire audience will leave the Des Moines Civic Center, feeling that saying that it was nice, would be the understatement of the yearsimply wouldn’t cut it.
