America, the band, embarks on their 2026 tour, entitled The Happy Trails Tour, is set to cover numerous state and city locations across the continent of North America. The legendary America, make an appearance in Des Moines, Iowa, on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, at the Des Moines Civic Center Theater. With decades of performing experience, the band resumes its earlier days of touring with epic songs from their vast and catchy library.

"A Horse with No Name," famously made its debut in 1971 and took the world by storm. "Ventura Highway" and "Sister Golden Hair" followed close behind, and suddenly, the British - American band was a household name. Famous for their harmonies and narrative expertise, the band soon collected some prestigious honors, among them their 2006 placement into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2012, following on from their 1973 Grammy Award. America, like many other bands, has experienced good years and years when they struggled, and yet they have succeeded in selling over 11 million records globally. The band's recent release, "Live From The Hollywood Bowl 1975," presents some updated songs that capture their early spirit, where "Tin Man" and "Lonely People" echo with modern audiences. They have unveiled their 2026 tour series, building on from some previous successful concert releases. 

An interesting detail about America - is that they were offspring of U.S. military members, and they started the band in the UK, where they mixed some stateside roots with English influences, forming a unique flavor.
